Patrick O'Toole
Contractor Nation
Title: IT Manager
Hometown: West Haven, CT
Patrick first joined the Contractor Nation family in early 2020 as an IT Specialist. Unfortunately, it was the beginning of the pandemic, and the state shutdown would immediately follow his hire. With the majority of the company remote, Patrick remained on the bare-bones staff in Seymour where he could provide the best service possible to anyone, anywhere.
In 2022, an opportunity to join the Media Team came with the chance to learn more about video production from them while helping create new processes and workflows to ensure long-term sustainability. He won't soon forget working on live content projects like CN Live, Good Morning Contractor Nation, and training webinars!
In 2024, the IT Department at Contractor Nation absorbed the team from Master Services assisting the partner network, and a plethora of projects came their way! He returned to help the team explore their new capabilities and works closely with Christian Nelsen and Brandon Carr to build on the systems in place and discover what more they can do.
Patrick went to Platt Technical High School where he studied Information Systems Technology. He wore a few different hats for Sears in both retail and distribution but as Sears began to close their doors, and an injury had him reconsidering his physically-demanding job, he found himself newly invigorated and inspired to get back to his roots in IT.
When he's not working, he tries to find a balance between self-improvement and relaxation. After becoming a student of the School of Entrepreneurship and unlocking his true potential and capabilities, he was able to turn his life on its head and lose over 100 lbs in the process. Outside of exercising and doing extreme amounts of cardio, you can find him brushing up on the latest and greatest in high fantasy novels and games. He never misses a Dresden Files or World of Warcraft release! He also loves eating pizza and baking cookies.
